Dr. Stevens is Board Certified in
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He received his
training from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Stevens is Board Certified
in Medical Acupuncture. He received his formal training at
the University of California in Los Angeles. He is also a
member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Stevens is a Certified
Hypnotist. He received his formal training at Bucks County Community College, and is a member of the National Guild of
Hypnotists.
Dr. Stevens has served as a
"Team Physician" at the high school, college, and
university levels. He was instrumental in designing exercise
programs to increase strength and flexibility.
Dr. Stevens is a Clinical
Associate Professor at Temple University Hospital in the Department of
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His duties include
teaching students, interns, and residents in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation, Medical Acupuncture, and Hypnosis. He has
been the recipient of the "Teacher of the Year" Award.
Dr. Stevens has been awarded
"Top Doc" in Philadelphia Magazine. He also
received the "Top Doctors Across America" recognition
from the Consumer's Guide. Dr. Stevens has edited his own
weekly newspaper article concerning athletic injuries, treatments,
and preventions, called "Sports Doc". He has been
published in various journals, and has been invited to be guest a speaker at National Conferences. |
